Ta Muchly…
I would like to publicly thank my lovelies who have dined with me in the last two years. Thank you all for not just your great company, but also for allowing me to take millions of photos of the food that arrived on our table before you were allowed to dig in. May there be many more noms!
In addition, I would like to thank these special people:
The rest of the dinner crew (LSD and sundries), for their ability to turn any mid-week dinner into events of epic LOL LOL LOL sessions.
Robert Stillwell, for his insightful comments from a professional editor’s perspective which have (hopefully) made my writing more succint and engaging, and less ‘foblish.’
My hottie boyfriend, Marty, for showing me that not even a fancy meal at a three-hatted restaurant can beat a couple of pieces of home-made Vietnamese beef jerky at The Mint’s car park at 2am in the morning (no double entendre intended – for reals).

hi libishki,
it was nice to meet you last night whilst i was bathing myself in delicious laksa. nice blog too. a question: you dont have a catagory for north melbourne, why is this? My hood rocks hard and you should check it out, for real.
Hello Gayden, it was indeed a pleasure to meet you the other night. Haha I didn’t realise that I haven’t actually written about any North Melbourne eateries until you kindly pointed it out to me. Court House is definitely on my list of places to go to and ditto Fandango, Baba House (or whatever it’s called now), Auction Rooms, Libertine and Oskar, to name a few. Catchya soon!
Tripped across your blog by accident and read it until too hungry to continue.
I’m looking forward to your further adventures.
Also, you’ve obviously tried a number of noodle and dumpling places. I recommend Auntie’s Dumplings in Carnegie. Its an easy stroll from the station if you want a suburban adventure.
Cheers
Hi Steve,
Thanks for stopping by
Yes, I have been to Auntie’s in Carnegie – love it!
Nom, nom, nom! Great blog.
Hi there…just wanted to commend you on the ‘real person’ approach you have taken to your reviews. With so many ‘critics’ out there giving pretentious and not very useful feedback about restaurants…you’ve come along with a refreshing and honest view of your experiences…heading off to Café Beelzebub this afternoon on your recommendation of the coffee!
Love the photos you post too!
One comment though…I note that you do have an email alert for updates…but an RSS feed would be fantastic too.
Cheers
Hi there Sam,
Thanks heaps for your positive feedback. Haha I try to be as unpretentious as I can and I do succeed… sometimes!
I’ll do something with the RSS – thanks for letting me know
Accidentally found your brilliant blog – love it!
Big thanks <3
Thanks, GK!
Hey,
I’ve noticed that you get rather emotional about percieved value for money. Just curious, how mmuch do you tip on average in a restaurant?
Hey Libishki,
I think you’re pretty hot. And your food blog is good too
Libishski, idiot. xx
